Meet Danielle, the newest addition to our Gumball Poodle team. She is super fun and has excellent personal style. Besides being very personable and detail oriented, Danielle is also a talented mixed media artist. She focuses on collage and makes rad album covers! Needless to say, we are stoked to welcome her onboard. To get to know her a little better, we asked her a variety of questions. Keep reading, you're in for a treat!
1) What is your first sock memory?
Haha, I have no idea! But I do remember the first time I convinced my mother to allow me to dress myself, around age 5. I ran as fast as I could to my dresser and... I looked insane! Very mis-matched, stripes with polkadots and all the jewelry I could find... literally throwing everything together but still looking FRESH.
2) Do you prefer sweet or savory?
I like both! But if I had to choose, I'd choose sweet. I'm a sucker for chocolate.
3) Favorite childhood toy?
Either my Pee-Wee Herman figurine with removable jacket and scooter or my Batman figurine. I was a 'tomboy' and had Batman everything as a child.
4) What is your secret superpower?
I have often had the ability to read minds. For real!
5) If you had a time machine, which era would you travel to and what pair of socks would you bring?
Either the '60s or '70s, I'm really into the fashion of these eras. I'd bring the 'HAPPY' or 'WEED' socks, cause they would obviously be a huge hit during either of these time periods!
6) Favorite jelly bean flavor?
Sadly I don't like jelly beans. They smell weird to me!
7) If you could design a Gumball Poodle sock what would it say?
"CHILL" or "IT'S COOL"
8) What fictional character do you relate to most and why?
Ponyboy Curtis from The Outsiders because I'm a sensitive 'dreamer.' I make a lot of collage art and paintings that are pretty reflective of this. :)
9) Celebrity crush?
President Obama... when he leaves office I swear I am going to go into a serious state of depression!
10) How many pairs of socks do you own?
Not enough! I own a LOT of clothing but my sock game is where I've been lacking... until now. MUHAHAHA
